Careers Education is vital to every students’ economic and personal well-being. We at Careerstorch are passionate about addressing these issues and this is central to all of the work we undertake.

We have a strong pedigree and expertise in this sector to deliver high quality impartial Careers Education to your students. The Careerstorch team are qualified to deliver this with staff holding the Qualification in Career Guidance. We have delivery staff who are also fully qualified teachers, with extensive experience in the secondary school and Further Education sector.

We have been particularly pleased with the feedback from schools regarding the need for a more flexible, current service that can operate within the school. We have been delighted that you have recognised we are a company who understands the requirements of students in a constantly changing labour market. There is also evidence emerging to suggest high quality, effective Career Guidance can have a significant impact on GCSE performance, overall attendance and access to leading universities, particularly amongst the middle and low level attainers. The strong message speaking to current schools is of a need for a fresh approach to Career Guidance which we feel we have implemented in our current schools. A ‘one size fits all’ approach to Career Guidance is unstainable in the current climate. All of our delivery is mapped across to the Careers Development Institute Framework (April 2021) learning outcomes. This will support us in assessing the impact and value that we add to the school. By working with Careerstorch you will also meet the Gatsby Benchmark 8 requirements and the updated statutory guidance Careers Guidance and Access for Education and Training Providers (DfE January 2023).

One of our key aims is to shine a new light on Careers Education in schools in a variety of new and imaginative formats. This will consist of a series of packages including one-to-one delivery, workshops and progression evenings which will ignite your students’ interests.

There are three key objectives that are important to us. The first is to deliver high quality Careers Education and guidance across the sector. The second is to deliver Careers Education which is impartial and current. Finally we will be delivering Careers Education in partnership with you, parents, carers and employers.
